Yes, Egyptian Spinach!...After doing some research on this I decided to find some seeds and give it a try.
Some of the key factors about this variety of spinach..1) It's highly proliferate, and 2) It does well in the Az warm to hot weather. 3) It can be container grown... This variety of spinach is widely grown in Asian countries. It grows more like a vine than it does the spinach plants we're more often familiar with.
This variety of spinach can overtake ground garden space, so I'd recommend container growing it.
I start the germination process, with this variety, in a moist paper towel and then transfer successful seeds to the semi perm container. This plant will do well in potting soil and in 100% perlite or some combo of the two mediums
