Set your 5 gallon bucket up exactly like you would for the tomatoes. Install your drain elbow and grommet.
You will need to drill a couple sets of holes on each side/opposite sides of your bucket I use a 1/4 inch drill bit. This allows you thread your 8" long tie wrap through, for your PVC pole support.
The top sets are drilled about 2" down from the top of the bucket. Space them about 1" apart.
The bottom sets are about half way down the bucket, and are directly under the top set.
Next, I put the paint strainer net in, then gently push my tie wrap through the net through one hole and then back out the other hole, and then start the join of the tie wrap but don't pull it snug till you have your pole in position. Then pull the tie wraps as snug as possible, insure poles are straight. Cut off excess tie wrap tails. Complete both poles on both
I then start the string lattice back and forth across each pole. I use my craft hot glue gun to hold each point into position.
I fill bucket with grow medium, then plant my seedlings, and water.

NETTING
I'm plagued with white flies and those black nats that destroy everything, so I net almost everything now.
I buy a fabric called "tulle". It's a netting material that comes in white and lots of colors and runs about $1.50 a yard if not on sale. I get it at Hobby Lobby craft stores, and use a 40% off coupon!,
For a 5 foot tall trellis I buy about 2 yards (6 feet).
I use those metal clips (dollar tree pack of 8 for $1.00) and gather the top of the 6 foot piece of tulle together. I place the clipped/gathered over the top of the 2 poles, and allow the fabric to fall down around the bucket. Keep the opening facing you.
At the bottom I tie the ends together, snugly around the top of the bucket.
I then roll the opening (from top to bottom) and place a couple of clips (3) along the way.
When your peas/beans start to grow you can quickly, easily remove a clip, get inside and help the plant on the trellis if necessary, then reclose the netting, keeping hungry bugs out.
